4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (confectioners’ sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter and Peanut Butter:
    • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring frequently until smooth and combined. This should only take about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the Sugar:
    • Once the butter and peanut butter are melted and smooth, remove the saucepan from the heat. Gradually whisk in the powdered sugar until fully incorporated. You may need to stir vigorously to ensure there are no lumps.
  3. Stir in the Vanilla:
    • Once the sugar is fully mixed in, add the vanilla extract and stir until everything is smooth and well combined.
  4. Transfer to a Pan:
    • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish (or a similar-sized dish) with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Chill and Set:
    • Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours, or until the fudge has completely set and is firm to the touch.
  6. Slice and Serve:
    • Once the fudge is set, remove it from the pan and cut it into small squares or rectangles. Serve and enjoy!

Tips & Variations:

  • Add Chocolate: For a chocolate peanut butter fudge, melt some chocolate chips (about 1 cup) and swirl it into the peanut butter mixture before chilling. Or, you can layer chocolate on top after spreading the peanut butter layer.
  • Use Crunchy Peanut Butter: If you prefer a bit of texture, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy for added crunch.
  • Top with Sea Salt: A sprinkle of sea salt on top of the fudge just before refrigerating adds a nice contrast to the sweetness.

Storage:

  • Store the peanut butter fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. You can also freeze it for up to 3 months for longer storage.

This 4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge is a foolproof, easy-to-make dessert that will definitely satisfy your cravings for something sweet and peanut buttery!
