Ingredients

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional add-ins:
    • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
    • ½ cup mini marshmallows
    • ½ cup dried fruit (like cranberries or raisins)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan
    • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Melt the Ingredients
    • In a microwave-safe bowl or a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat, stirring frequently, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add Flavor
    • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, salt, and any optional add-ins like nuts or marshmallows.
  4. Pour and Set
    • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Chill
    • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until the fudge is firm enough to cut.
  6. Cut and Serve
    • Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into small squares.

Tips

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a swirl effect, drizzle melted white chocolate over the fudge and swirl with a toothpick before chilling.
  • Use dark chocolate or flavored chips (like peanut butter or butterscotch) for variations.

Enjoy your quick and decadent 5-minute fudge! 🍫✨
