Here’s the ultimate Air Fryer Dumplings recipe for perfectly crispy results every time – whether you’re using frozen store-bought or homemade dumplings!

Crispy Air Fryer Dumplings

(Makes 12 dumplings)

Ingredients:

  • 12 dumplings (fresh or frozen, any variety)
  • 1 tbsp oil (avocado, vegetable, or sesame)
  • Water spray bottle (for fresh dumplings)
  • Optional garnish:
    • Sesame seeds
    • Sliced green onions

Dipping Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp honey or sugar
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Chili flakes to taste

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes
  • Lightly brush basket with oil or use parchment liner with holes

2️⃣ Cook Frozen Dumplings:

  • Arrange in single layer (don’t overcrowd!)
  • Lightly spray with oil
  • Cook 8 minutes, flip, then 4-5 more minutes until golden

3️⃣ Cook Fresh Dumplings:

  • Spray dumplings lightly with water first
  • Cook 5 minutes, spray again with water, then 3-4 more minutes

4️⃣ Serve:

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions
  • Mix dipping sauce ingredients while dumplings cook

Pro Tips:

🔥 Extra Crispy: Double cook method – steam first (spray with water), then finish with oil spray
🌱 Vegan Option: Use plant-based dumplings and replace honey with maple syrup
⏱ No Preheat: Add 2 minutes to cook time if skipping preheat
🍽 Serving Ideas: Serve over rice with stir-fried veggies for a complete meal

Storage Tip: Reheat leftovers in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness!
