Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Dressing:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard (if using), salt, black pepper, and mustard powder (if using). Whisk until the dressing is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Combine the Salad:

    • In a large mixing bowl, add the cooled pasta, chopped eggs, celery, red bell pepper, onion, and sweet relish.
    • Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir gently to combine everything. Be careful not to break the pasta or eggs.
  4. Chill the Salad:

    • Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor. Chilling allows the flavors to meld together.
