Arizona produces $50K Powerball winners from historic draw

Following the record-breaking $1.765 billion Powerball drawing on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, multiple tickets sold in Arizona matched significant winning combinations, creating several new $50,000 winners.

While the single jackpot-winning ticket was sold in California, Arizona players had considerable success. According to the Arizona Lottery, the state produced:

• Three tickets that matched four white numbers plus the Powerball, which is a $50,000 prize. This prize increases to $150,000 if the player had added the Power Play option.

• Additionally, dozens of other players across the state won smaller-tier prizes ranging from $4 to a few hundred dollars.

The historic size of the jackpot drove immense ticket sales across the country, including in Arizona. The locations of where the winning $50,000 tickets were sold in Arizona have not been publicly disclosed unless the winners choose to come forward.

The winning numbers for the October 11, 2023, drawing were: White Balls 22, 24, 40, 52, 64 and Powerball 10.
