  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare Biscuits:
    • Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Add Mozzarella:
    • Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  4. Form Biscuit Bombs:
    • Fold the edges of the biscuit dough around the cheese, pinching the seams to seal tightly. Roll into a ball and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Season Biscuits:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
  6. Bake:
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
