📝 Ingredients

For the Sandwich:

  • 1 ciabatta roll or French baguette (split lengthwise)
  • 2 oz (60g) thinly sliced smoked turkey
  • 2 oz (60g) thinly sliced Black Forest ham
  • 2 oz (60g) thinly sliced salami (Genoa or spicy)
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup giardiniera (Italian pickled vegetables), drained & chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Optional Add-ons:

  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Fresh arugula
  • Balsamic glaze

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Build the Sandwich

  1. Toast the bread: Lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil and toast in a pan or oven until golden.
  2. Spread condiments: On the bottom half, layer mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
  3. Stack meats & cheese: Add turkey, ham, salami, and provolone.
  4. Add giardiniera: Spoon chopped giardiniera over the cheese.

2️⃣ Melt & Serve

  1. Broil or panini press: Heat until cheese melts (2-3 mins).
  2. Add greens/tomatoes if using, then close the sandwich.
