Boston Pizza Oven Roasted Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
  2. Prepare the Chicken Wings:
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is important to ensure they become crispy in the oven.
  3. Season the Wings:
    • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, and cayenne pepper (if using). Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Arrange on the Baking Sheet:
    • Place the seasoned chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Make sure they are not touching each other to allow for even roasting.
  5. Roast the Wings:
    • Roast the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve:
