Cajun Ground Beef Linguine with Velveeta & Creamy Garlic Alfredo 🌶️🧀

This rich, spicy, and ultra-creamy pasta dish combines Cajun-seasoned beef, tender linguine, and a velvety Alfredo-Velveeta cheese sauce for the ultimate comfort food with a kick! Ready in 30 minutes.


Ingredients *(Serves 4-6)*

For the Pasta & Beef:

  • 12 oz linguine (or fettuccine)

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken)

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to heat preference)

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 bell pepper (any color), diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Alfredo-Velveeta Sauce:

  • 2 cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)

  • 4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning (extra kick!)

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Extra Parmesan


Instructions

1️⃣ Cook Pasta & Beef

  • Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

  • In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion, bell pepper, garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, Velveeta, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning.

  • Whisk until smooth and creamy (about 5 mins). If too thick, add a splash of pasta water.

3️⃣ Combine & Serve

  • Toss cooked linguine with the beef mixture and Alfredo sauce.

  • Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and extra Parmesan.


Tips for Success

🔥 Spice level: Add cayenne or hot sauce for extra heat.
🧀 No Velveeta? Use 1 cup shredded American cheese instead.
🍝 Add veggies: Stir in spinach or mushrooms with the beef.
