Easy Cheddar Bay Seafood Pot Pie

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 1 lb cooked shrimp, chopped

  • ½ lb crab meat (imitation works)

  • ½ cup celery, diced

  • ½ cup onion, diced

  • ¼ cup butter

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1½ cups milk

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ cup frozen peas (optional)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar

Biscuit Topping:

  • 1 cup Bisquick mix

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Make Filling:

    • Sauté celery and onion in butter until soft (~3 mins).

    • Stir in flour, then gradually add milk until thickened.

    • Add seasonings, seafood, and peas. Pour into greased 9″ pie dish.

  2. Make Topping:

    • Mix Bisquick, milk, egg, ½ cup cheddar, and garlic powder.

    • Drop spoonfuls over filling. Top with remaining ¼ cup cheddar.

  3. Bake:

    • 400°F for 20-25 mins until golden.

    • Brush with melted butter before serving.

Pro Tip: Use refrigerated biscuit dough in a pinch – just mix in cheddar and garlic powder!
