Cheesecake Crescent Rolls 🍰🌀

Creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in buttery crescent dough, baked to golden perfection—ready in 30 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or zest for brightness)

  • 1 egg yolk (optional, for richness)

  • Topping ideas:

    • Powdered sugar

    • Fruit preserves (strawberry, blueberry)

    • Cinnamon sugar


Instructions

1. Prep the Filling

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.

  • Add egg yolk (if using) for extra richness.

2. Assemble the Rolls

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  • Spoon 1 tbsp cheesecake filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

  • Roll up from the wide end, tucking in the sides to seal.

3. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Place rolls on a parchment-lined tray, spacing them apart.

  • Bake 10-12 mins until golden brown.

4. Finish & Serve

  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted jam.

  • Enjoy warm or chilled!


Variations

🍓 Berry Bliss: Add a spoonful of fruit preserves inside before rolling.
🍫 Chocolate Lover’s: Mix 1 tbsp cocoa powder into the filling.
🍋 Lemon Poppyseed: Add 1 tsp poppyseeds + extra lemon zest.

Pro Tip: For gooey centers, slightly underbake (10 mins max)!
