This rich, comforting pasta dish combines tender chicken, cheese-filled tortellini, fresh spinach, and a luxurious garlic Parmesan cream sauce—ready in just 30 minutes!


🍽️ Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Pasta & Chicken:

  • 1 lb (450g) cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

For Garnish:

  • Extra Parmesan

  • Fresh parsley


👩🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Tortellini

  • Boil tortellini in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Sauté the Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and no longer pink (~5-6 mins). Remove and set aside.

3. Make the Cream Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 secs until fragrant.

  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well. Simmer for 3-4 mins until slightly thickened.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  • Add spinach and cook until wilted (~1-2 mins).

4. Combine Everything

  • Add cooked tortellini and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.

  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and adjust seasoning to taste.

5. Serve & Garnish

  • Top with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
