Here’s your ultimate Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo Bake—creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor! Perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.


🍗🥦 Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo Bake

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 30 mins | Total Time: 45 mins
Servings: 4–6

📝 Ingredients

  • 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb), cubed

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 8 oz (2½ cups) farfalle or penne pasta (or any short pasta)

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (+ extra for topping)

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp salt (+ more to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (for extra cheesiness!)


🔥 Instructions

1. Prep & Cook

  1. Cook pasta al dente (1–2 mins less than package instructions). Drain and set aside.

  2. Steam broccoli for 3–4 mins until tender-crisp (or blanch in pasta water).

  3. Sear chicken: In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden (5–6 mins). Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove and set aside.

2. Make Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 30 secs.

  • Pour in heavy cream, simmer 2 mins.

  • Stir in Parmesan until melted. Season with salt & pepper.

3. Assemble & Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, mix pasta, chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce.

  3. Top with mozzarella + extra Parmesan.

  4. Bake 15–20 mins until bubbly and golden.

  5. Broil 1–2 mins for a crispy top (optional).

✔ Extra creamy? Add 4 oz cream cheese to the sauce.
✔ Lighter version? Swap heavy cream for evaporated milk or a roux-based sauce.
✔ Crunchy topping? Sprinkle with breadcrumbs + melted butter before baking.
