Churro Stuffed French Toast with Cinnamon Sugar

Ingredients
For the French Toast

½ cup (120ml) whole milk (or heavy cream for richness)

For the Churro Coating

½ cup (100g) granulated sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

4 tbsp (60g) melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions
1. Make the Cream Cheese Filling

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
2. Stuff the Bread

Cut a deep pocket into each bread slice (don’t cut through).

Fill each pocket with 1-2 tbsp cream cheese mixture and press gently to seal.
3. Dip & Cook

Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a shallow dish.

Soak each stuffed slice for 20-30 seconds per side.

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook French toast 3-4 mins per side until golden.
4. Coat in Cinnamon Sugar

Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow plate.

Brush cooked French toast with melted butter, then press into cinnamon sugar to coat.
5. Serve Warm

Drizzle with caramel, add whipped cream, or fresh berries.
