Creamy Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients:

  • For the Wings:
    • 2 pounds chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Wings:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well coated.
  2. Bake the Wings:
    • Place the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
    • Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
    • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
    • Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine:
    • Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or ranch dressing.
