Here’s a simple and flavorful recipe for Crock-Pot Mississippi Pork Chops that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients

  • For the Pork Chops:
    • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
    • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
    • 5-6 pepperoncini peppers (whole, or sliced if preferred)

Instructions

  1. Season the Pork Chops:
    • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer in the Crock-Pot:
    • Place the seasoned pork chops in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
  3. Add the Seasoning:
    • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the pork chops.
  4. Add Butter and Peppers:
    • Cut the butter into pieces and place it on top of the pork chops. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top.
  5. Cook:
    • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Once done, gently shred the pork chops or serve them whole with the gravy and peppers spooned over the top.

Tips

  • This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the delicious gravy.
  • You can add vegetables like carrots or potatoes to the Crock-Pot for a complete meal.
