Easy 4-Ingredient Bread Rolls

Ingredients
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (240ml) warm milk (about 110°F/43°C)
- 2¼ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Optional: 1 tsp salt (for flavor)
Instructions
1. Activate the Yeast
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
- Let sit 5-10 minutes until frothy (proofing the yeast).
2. Make the Dough
- Stir in flour (and salt, if using) until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover with a towel and let rise 1 hour (or until doubled).
3. Shape & Bake
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide dough into 8-10 balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake 15-18 minutes until golden.
Tips
✔ No yeast? Substitute with 1 tsp baking powder + 1 tsp baking soda (but texture will differ).
