Easy Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Gather all your ingredients and have them ready.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, vanilla extract, butter, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cook Mixture:
    • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the pan and forms a soft ball, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Shape the Desserts:
    • Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Using a spoon, scoop out small portions of the mixture and shape them into balls or press into molds.
  5. Cool and Set:
    • Place the shaped desserts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them cool completely to set.
