  • Tips:

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Optional toppings:
    • Pepperoni
    • Sliced mushrooms
    • Bell peppers
    • Olives
    • Onions
    • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare garlic bread:
    • If using store-bought garlic bread, simply slice the loaf in half (if it’s a whole loaf) or prepare the garlic bread slices according to the package directions.
    • If making your own garlic bread, slice a loaf of French or Italian bread and spread a mixture of butter, minced garlic, and parsley on top. Toast in the oven until golden brown (about 8-10 minutes), then remove.
  3. Assemble the pizza:
    • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each garlic bread slice or half loaf.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
    • Add your desired toppings—pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, or onions—on top of the cheese.
  4. Season: Sprinkle dried oregano and basil over the pizza, and top with a little Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the garlic bread pizzas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the garlic bread are golden brown.
  6. Garnish and serve:
    • After baking, remove from the oven and, if desired, add fresh basil leaves for garnish.
    • Slice and serve immediately!

Tips:

  • For extra crispiness: Bake the garlic bread until it’s golden and crisp before adding the toppings, so it doesn’t get soggy.
  • Customize: Feel free to get creative with your toppings—use whatever you have in your fridge for a personalized pizza experience.
  • Make it spicy: Add red pepper flakes or drizzle a bit of hot sauce on top if you like a little heat.

This Easy Garlic Bread Pizza is the perfect fusion of two classic favorites and can be made in no time with minimal effort! Enjoy!
