✨ Extra Creamy Classic Hummus (Restaurant-Style!)

Silky-smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—just like your favorite Middle Eastern hummus, but even better!


📝 Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups (250g) cooked chickpeas (canned or soaked + boiled)
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) tahini (high-quality, runny)
  • 2-3 tbsp ice-cold water (or aquafaba for extra fluffiness)
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
  • 1-2 garlic cloves (minced or grated)
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 3-4 ice cubes (secret for ultra-creamy texture!)
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)

(Optional toppings: paprika, parsley, toasted pine nuts, za’atar)

1. Peel the Chickpeas (Secret Step!)

  • Rub cooked chickpeas between your fingers or a towel to remove skins (this makes it smoother!).

2. Blend Until Dreamy

  1. In a food processor, blend tahini + lemon juice for 1 minute (until pale and whipped).
