Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twists

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough:
    • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 12×8 inches).
  3. Add the toppings:
    • Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled bacon over the sauce.
  4. Fold and twist:
    • Fold the dough in half lengthwise, covering the toppings. Press the edges to seal.
    • Cut the dough into 1-inch strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
    • Twist each strip a few times and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each twist.
  5. Add the garlic butter:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
    • Brush the mixture over the tops of the pizza twists.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish and serve:
    • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping.

Tips

  • Add-ins: Include cooked chicken, spinach, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Make ahead: Assemble the twists the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Bake them fresh in the morning.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.

These Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twists are a crowd-pleasing snack that’s perfect for parties, game day, or a fun family dinner. Enjoy! 🍕✨
