Garlic Chicken Lo Mein 🥢🍜
Tender chicken, chewy noodles, and a savory garlic sauce—ready in 20 minutes!
Ingredients (Serves 4)
Main Components:

8 oz (225g) lo mein noodles (or spaghetti in a pinch)

2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)

1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup shredded carrots
-
1 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)

2 cups baby bok choy or cabbage, chopped
Sauce:

3 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
½ tsp sugar
-
¼ tsp white pepper
Garnish:
-
Green onions, sliced
-
Sesame seeds
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep & Cook Noodles

Cook lo mein noodles according to package (usually 3–4 mins in boiling water). Drain and rinse with cold water.
2️⃣ Stir-Fry Chicken & Veggies

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok/large skillet over high heat.

Add chicken and stir-fry until no longer pink (~4 mins). Remove and set aside.

Add remaining 1 tbsp oil, then sauté garlic, carrots, bell peppers, and bok choy for 2–3 mins until crisp-tender.
3️⃣ Combine & Sauce

Return chicken to the pan. Add cooked noodles and pour sauce over everything.

Toss well for 1–2 mins until everything is coated and heated through.
4️⃣ Serve

Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
