Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Chicken:

  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).

2. Prepare the Skewers:

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes to prevent burning. If using metal skewers, you can skip this step.
  • Thread the marinated chicken tenders onto the skewers, making sure they are evenly spaced.

3. Grill the Chicken:

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the chicken skewers on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until the chicken is fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Grill until you have nice grill marks and the chicken is tender and juicy.

Alternatively, you can bake them in the oven. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the chicken skewers on a lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

4. Serve:

  • Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill or oven. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color.
  • Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers with your favorite dipping sauce (like ranch or garlic butter) or alongside a salad, rice, or roasted vegetables.
