🍕 GF Margherita Pizza Dip (Hot, Cheesy & Fresh!)

This gluten-free twist on the classic Margherita pizza dip is bubbly, gooey, and loaded with tomato, mozzarella, and basil flavor—perfect for parties, game day, or a cozy night in!

📝 Ingredients

For the Dip:

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened (or dairy-free alternative)

  • ½ cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or dairy-free mozzarella)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (omit for dairy-free)

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn (or dairy-free cheese)

  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For Serving:

  • GF baguette slices, tortilla chips, or veggie sticks


👩🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Base

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes until smooth.

  3. Stir in shredded mozzarella and Parmesan.

2️⃣ Assemble & Bake

  1. Spread mixture into a 9-inch pie dish or small baking dish.

  2. Top with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.

  3. Bake 15-20 mins until bubbly and golden.

3️⃣ Finish & Serve

  1. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with basil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Serve hot with GF bread or chips for dipping!
