Glass Skin DIY Serum

Achieve that ultra-dewy, translucent “glass skin” glow with this simple, nourishing serum packed with hydrating and brightening ingredients.

Prep Time: 5 mins | Shelf Life: 2-3 weeks (refrigerated)
Skin Type: All (adjust oils for your needs)


Ingredients

Base Liquid:

  • 2 tbsp aloe vera gel (fresh or 98% pure)

  • 1 tbsp glycerin (humectant for hydration)

  • 1 tbsp rose water or green tea (soothing/antioxidant)

Active Boosters (*Pick 1-2*):

  • 5 drops niacinamide (brightening/pore-refining)

  • 3 drops hyaluronic acid (plumping)

  • 2 drops licorice root extract (evening skin tone)

Oils (Pick 1 for your skin type):

  • 3 drops jojoba oil (balancing for oily/combo)

  • 3 drops squalane (lightweight for all types)

  • 3 drops rosehip oil (dry/mature skin)

Preservative (Optional):

  • 2 drops vitamin E oil or 1/8 tsp leucidal liquid (extends freshness)


Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Base

  • In a small sterilized dropper bottle or jar, combine aloe vera, glycerin, and rose water/green tea. Shake well.

2️⃣ Add Actives

  • Stir in your chosen boosters (niacinamide, HA, etc.).

3️⃣ Finish with Oil

  • Gently swirl in your selected oil and vitamin E (if using).

4️⃣ Store & Use

  • Keep refrigerated. Apply 2-3 drops to cleansed skin before moisturizer, morning and night.
