Ingredients:
- 8 slices of ham
- 8 string cheese sticks (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Lay out the ham slices on a clean surface. Place one string cheese stick at the edge of each ham slice and roll tightly.
- Set Up the Breading Station:
- Place the flour in one shallow bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a second shallow bowl.
- In a third shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bread the Ham and Cheese Sticks:
- Dredge each ham and cheese stick in the flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured stick into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s completely coated.
- Roll the stick in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Fry the Sticks:
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
