Honey Butter Skillet Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn (about 4 ears of corn, husked and kernels removed)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Chopped fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter:
    • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the Corn:
    • Add the corn to the skillet and stir to coat it in the melted butter. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and slightly caramelized.
  3. Add Honey and Seasoning:
    • Drizzle the honey over the corn and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. Serve:
    • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.
