What Are Honeymoon Stackers?

A delicious layered appetizer featuring:

  • Kielbasa sausage (sliced into rounds)

  • Canned pineapple chunks (for sweetness)

  • Pickled jalapeño slices (for a spicy kick)

  • A sticky-sweet glaze (teriyaki, brown sugar, and pineapple juice)

They’re baked until caramelized and served warm with toothpicks for easy grabbing.

How to Make Honeymoon Stackers

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) package kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)

  • 1 (12 oz) jar tamed pickled jalapeño slices, drained

  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp reserved pineapple juice

  • 1 tbsp jalapeño brine (from the jar)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Toothpicks (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Make the glaze: In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, jalapeño brine, and garlic powder.

  3. Assemble the stacks:

    • Place a kielbasa round on the baking sheet.

    • Top with a pineapple chunk and a jalapeño slice.

  4. Drizzle with glaze (reserve some for later).

  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until caramelized and bubbly.

  6. Add toothpicks (after baking to avoid burning).

  7. Drizzle with remaining glaze before serving.
