Lobster Ravioli in Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 400g lobster ravioli (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tbsp (60g) butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) white wine (optional, replace with chicken or vegetable stock if preferred)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: lemon zest, red pepper flakes, or extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the ravioli:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster ravioli and cook according to the package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the garlic butter sauce:
    • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
    • Pour in the white wine (or stock) and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
    • Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Combine the ravioli and sauce:
    • Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and gently toss to coat them in the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  4. Season and garnish:
    • Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and any additional garnishes like lemon zest or red pepper flakes.
  5. Serve:
    • Plate the ravioli and drizzle with extra sauce. Serve immediately with a side of crusty bread or a fresh salad.

Tips

  • Add protein: Include cooked shrimp or scallops for an extra seafood twist.
  • Make it lighter: Substitute half-and-half or whole milk for the heavy cream.
  • Fresh ravioli: If using fresh ravioli, reduce the cooking time to 2-3 minutes.

This Lobster Ravioli in Garlic Butter Sauce is a decadent and restaurant-quality dish that’s sure to impress. Enjoy! 🦞🍝✨
