Meat Lover’s Pizza Bread is a delicious, cheesy, and meat-packed twist on traditional pizza, using crusty bread as the base. It’s perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or even a hearty meal. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread (or a baguette)

  • 1 cup pizza sauce (or marinara)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

  • ½ cup cooked & crumbled Italian sausage

  • ½ cup cooked & crumbled bacon

  • ½ cup diced pepperoni

  • ¼ cup diced ham

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  3. Brush with butter: Lightly brush the cut sides with melted butter (this adds flavor and crispiness).

  4. Add sauce: Spread pizza sauce evenly over both halves.

  5. Layer cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella (and cheddar if using) over the sauce.

  6. Add meats: Evenly distribute sausage, bacon, pepperoni, and ham.

  7. Season: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  8. Bake: Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  9. Broil (optional): For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes (watch closely!).

  10. Garnish & serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley, slice, and enjoy while hot!
