2-Ingredient Mini Pies

Ingredients

  • For the Pie Crust:
    • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts (or puff pastry)
  • For the Filling:
    • 1 can of fruit filling (like cherry, apple, or blueberry) or Nutella for a chocolate option

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Pie Crust:
    • Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface. Use a round cutter (about 3-4 inches in diameter) to cut out circles.
  3. Fill the Mini Pies:
    • Place a small spoonful of your chosen filling in the center of each circle. Be careful not to overfill.
  4. Seal the Pies:
    • Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges with a fork to seal. You can also crimp the edges for a decorative look.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the mini pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the mini pies to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious treats!

Tips

  • For a shiny finish, you can brush the tops with an egg wash before baking.
  • Feel free to sprinkle some sugar on top for added sweetness!

These mini pies are perfect for snacks or dessert, and you can easily customize the fillings to your liking! Enjoy!
