Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef

  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning (or homemade blend: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt)

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (or shredded cheddar + a splash of milk, melted)

  • ½ cup diced tomatoes

  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeños (adjust for spice)

  • ¼ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • ½ cup crushed tortilla chips (for crunch!)

For Assembly:

  • 4 large flour tortillas (or burrito-sized)

  • ½ cup shredded Mexican cheese blend (optional, for extra meltiness)

  • Cooking spray or butter (for toasting)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef:

    • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess fat.

    • Add taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 mins until thickened. Remove from heat.

  2. Prep Fillings:

    • Warm the nacho cheese sauce (or melt shredded cheese with a splash of milk).

    • Chop tomatoes, jalapeños, and lettuce. Crush tortilla chips lightly.

  3. Assemble Wraps:

    • Lay out a tortilla and spread a spoonful of nacho cheese down the center.

    • Add seasoned beef, tomatoes, jalapeños, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and crushed chips.

    • Sprinkle extra shredded cheese if desired.

  4. Fold & Toast:

    • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly into a wrap.

    • Heat a skillet over medium, lightly spray with oil or butter, and toast the wrap seam-side down for 2-3 mins per side until golden and crispy.

  5. Serve:

    • Slice in half diagonally and serve with extra sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Variations:

  • Spicier: Add hot sauce or extra jalapeños.

  • Healthier: Use ground turkey, Greek yogurt, and whole wheat tortillas.

  • Vegetarian: Swap beef for black beans or plant-based crumbles.

This wrap is like loaded nachos in portable form—perfect for lunch, game day, or a quick dinner! 🌯🔥
