Ingredients:

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Noodles:

    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente (about 7-9 minutes).
    • Drain the noodles and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese (if using), Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Combine the Noodles and Sauce:

    • Add the drained, cooked noodles into the bowl with the sauce. Toss to coat the noodles evenly with the creamy sauce.
  4. Heat and Serve:

    • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the coated noodles to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
