🧀 One-Pan Baked Zucchini Cheese

A creamy, cheesy zucchini bake with a golden crust—ready in under 30 minutes!

📝 Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchinis, sliced into ¼-inch rounds

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)

  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano and basil)

  • Optional toppings:

    • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)

    • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the Zucchini

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Layer & Bake

  1. Arrange zucchini slices in a single layer in a greased baking dish (9×13-inch or similar).

  2. Drizzle with heavy cream, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.

  3. Add Italian seasoning and breadcrumbs (if using).

3. Bake Until Golden

  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  2. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness (watch closely!).

4. Serve Hot!

  • Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy straight from the pan.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Extra flavor? Add minced garlic or a pinch of red pepper flakes.

  • Make it a meal: Top with grilled chicken or serve over pasta.

  • Low-carb? Skip the breadcrumbs—it’s just as delicious without!

🍽️ Why This Works

  • One-pan wonder = minimal cleanup.

  • Zucchini stays tender, not mushy.

  • Cheesy, creamy, and crispy—all in one bite!

Perfect for using up summer zucchini! 🌞🧀

(P.S. Leftovers? Reheat in the oven to keep the texture crispy!)
