🍝 One-Pot Parmesan Pasta (Creamy & Easy!)
A silky, garlicky pasta cooked in one pot with Parmesan, butter, and herbs—ready in 15 minutes!
📝 Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
- 3 cups (720ml) water or broth (for extra flavor)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese (+ extra for garnish)
- Handful of fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook Pasta & Garlic
- In a large pot, combine pasta, water/broth, butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 8-10 mins, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid reduces.
2. Add Cream & Cheese
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook for 2-3 more mins until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
3. Garnish & Serve
- Top with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
- (Optional: Add a squeeze of lemon or red pepper flakes for a kick!)
✨ Tips
✔ No heavy cream? Use evaporated milk or cream cheese (softened).
✔ Extra protein? Toss in cooked chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms.
✔ Too thick? Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
Creamy, cheesy, and minimal cleanup—perfect for weeknights! 😋🍝
Pair with: Garlic bread & a crisp salad. Enjoy! 🥖🥗
