Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2-3 oranges)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients:
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, fresh orange juice, orange zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Chill the Mixture:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or until it’s thoroughly chilled.
  3. Churn:
    • Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  4. Freeze:
