Orange Dreamsicle Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  • 1 packet (3.4 oz) orange-flavored gelatin mix (like Jell-O)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded coconut or chopped nuts (for added texture)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, whipped topping, cottage cheese, and orange gelatin mix.
  2. Mix Well:
    • Stir everything together until well combined. If you’re adding coconut or nuts, fold them in at this stage.
  3. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the salad to set.
  4. Serve:
    • Once chilled, give the salad a gentle stir before serving. You can garnish it with additional mandarin oranges or a sprinkle of coconut if desired.

Enjoy!

This Orange Dreamsicle Salad is a delightful addition to potlucks, picnics, or just a sweet treat at home. Enjoy the creamy, fruity goodness!
