🍊 Orange Monkey Bread 🐒
A citrusy, gooey, pull-apart delight with a bright orange glaze!

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 (16 oz) cans refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade)

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp orange zest

Coating:

  • ¾ cup butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp nutmeg (optional)

Orange Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 3 tbsp orange juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 tsp orange zest

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan generously.

  2. Coat the dough: Cut biscuits into quarters. In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Dip each piece in melted butter, then roll in the sugar mixture.

  3. Layer: Place coated dough pieces in the pan, sprinkling extra orange zest between layers.

  4. Bake: 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate.

  5. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, zest, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm bread.

🍯 Optional Twist:

  • Add ½ cup chopped pecans for crunch.

  • Swap orange for lemon for a tangier version.

Serve warm and watch it disappear! Perfect for brunch or dessert. 😋
