Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Total Time: 45 mins (+ rising time if using yeast dough)
Servings: 8-10 rolls

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 1 can (16.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (or homemade dough)
(Alternatively, use homemade sweet dough or brioche for extra richness.)

For the Filling:

  • 4 tbsp (½ stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 10-12 Oreo cookies, coarsely crushed

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1-2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Optional Toppings:

  • Additional crushed Oreos

  • Chocolate drizzle

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Dough:

    • If using canned dough, unroll the cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing packet (or save for another use).

    • If using homemade dough, roll it out into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick).

  2. Make the Filling:

    • Spread softened butter evenly over the dough.

    • Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the butter.

    • Scatter crushed Oreos evenly across the dough.

  3. Roll & Cut:

    • Tightly roll the dough into a log.

    • Slice into 1½-inch thick rolls (about 8-10 pieces).

  4. Bake:

    • Place rolls in a greased baking dish (or cast-iron skillet).

    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 mins until golden brown.

  5. Make the Frosting:

    • Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add milk as needed.

    • Spread over warm rolls and top with extra Oreo crumbs.

  6. Serve:

    • Enjoy warm for the best gooey, melty experience!

Tips:

  • For extra decadence, stuff whole Oreos inside each roll before baking.

  • Add a chocolate ganache drizzle for a double-chocolate twist.

  • Use Double Stuf Oreos for even more creaminess.

These Oreo-stuffed cinnamon rolls are a fun twist on a classic—perfect for brunch, dessert, or a sweet snack! 🍫✨
