Peanut Butter Cup French Toast Rolls 🍫🥜

A decadent breakfast hack that stuffs peanut butter and chocolate into crispy French toast bites—perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself!

Ingredients (Makes 12 rolls)

  • 12 slices soft sandwich bread (white or brioche)

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • 12 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, unwrapped

  • 2 large eggs

  • ¼ cup milk (or almond milk)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)

  • Powdered sugar & maple syrup (for serving)

Optional Add-Ons

  • Sliced bananas

  • Chocolate drizzle

  • Crushed peanuts

Instructions

  1. Flatten the Bread:

    • Trim crusts, then roll each slice flat with a rolling pin.

  2. Fill & Roll:

    • Spread 1 tsp peanut butter on each slice.

    • Place a mini PB cup near one edge, then roll tightly. Seal the edge with a dab of peanut butter.

  3. Dip & Cook:

    • Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.

    • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

    • Dip each roll in the egg mixture, letting excess drip off.

    • Fry for 2-3 mins per side, until golden brown.

  4. Serve:

    • Dust with powdered sugar and dunk in maple syrup.

Tips

✨ Make-Ahead: Assemble rolls the night before; fry in the morning.
🔥 Air Fryer Option: Spray rolls with oil, cook at 375°F for 5-6 mins, flipping halfway.
🍌 Elvis Style: Add sliced bananas before rolling.

Breakfast just got a chocolate-peanut butter upgrade! 😋 Let me know if you want a Nutella-swap version.
