Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Here’s a delicious recipe for Philly cheesesteak sliders, perfect for a party or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef (like flank steak or ribeye)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 8-12 slices provolone or cheese of your choice
  • 12 slider rolls (like Hawaiian or dinner rolls)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Butter, for brushing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef:
    • If using whole cuts of beef, freeze for about 30 minutes to make slicing easier. Slice thinly against the grain.
  2. Cook the veggies:
    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  3. Cook the beef:
    • Push the veggies to the side of the skillet and add the sliced beef. Cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, mixing with the veggies. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cook for another minute.
  4. Assemble the sliders:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
    • Spoon the beef and veggie mixture evenly over the rolls. Top with cheese slices, then place the top halves of the rolls on.
  5. Bake:
    • If desired, melt some butter and brush it over the tops of the rolls. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
