Here’s a delicious recipe for Philly cheesesteak sliders, perfect for a party or a cozy night in!
Ingredients
- 1 pound thinly sliced beef (like flank steak or ribeye)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
- 8-12 slices provolone or cheese of your choice
- 12 slider rolls (like Hawaiian or dinner rolls)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
- Butter, for brushing (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the beef:
- If using whole cuts of beef, freeze for about 30 minutes to make slicing easier. Slice thinly against the grain.
- Cook the veggies:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
- Cook the beef:
- Push the veggies to the side of the skillet and add the sliced beef. Cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, mixing with the veggies. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cook for another minute.
- Assemble the sliders:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spoon the beef and veggie mixture evenly over the rolls. Top with cheese slices, then place the top halves of the rolls on.
- Bake:
- If desired, melt some butter and brush it over the tops of the rolls. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
Enjoy your Philly cheesesteak sliders! They’re sure to be a hit!
