Pork Chop Supreme Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or homemade equivalent)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Optional: 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (fresh or canned)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Pork Chops:
    • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown the Pork Chops:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Onions:
    • In the same skillet, add the sliced onion (and mushrooms if using) and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Make the Sauce:
    • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to combine.
  5. Combine and Cook:
    • Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).
  6. Serve:
    • Once done, serve the pork chops with the creamy sauce over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy!

This Pork Chop Supreme is a comforting dish that’s sure to please. Enjoy your meal!
