Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (16 oz) breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, depending on your preference)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups baking mix (like Bisquick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, Rotel (drained), shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything together until it’s evenly combined. It will be a bit thick and sticky.
  3. Form the Sausage Balls:
    • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. You should get about 24-30 balls, depending on the size.
