Instructions
1️⃣ Prep – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients – Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
3️⃣ Cream butter & sugars – Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (~3 mins).
4️⃣ Add eggs & vanilla – Mix in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
5️⃣ Combine dry & wet – Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
6️⃣ Fold in mix-ins – Gently stir in chocolate chips and caramel bits.
7️⃣ Scoop & bake – Drop 2-tbsp dough balls onto sheets, spacing 2″ apart. Bake 9-11 mins until edges are golden but centers are soft.
8️⃣ Salt & cool – Sprinkle with flaky sea salt right out of the oven. Let cool 5 mins before transferring to a rack.
