🧂 Salted Caramel Cracker Bites (Easy 5-Ingredient Treat!)

Buttery, crunchy crackers coated in homemade caramel, melted chocolate, and a sprinkle of sea salt—irresistibly sweet & salty!


📝 Ingredients

  • 40 round buttery crackers (like Ritz)
  • 1 cup (2 sticks / 225g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt (for garnish)

👩🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Arrange crackers in a single layer (close together).

2. Make the Caramel

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in brown sugar and simmer 2-3 mins until bubbly (don’t stir!).
  • Remove from heat, add vanilla, and pour evenly over crackers.

3. Bake

  • Bake 5 mins until caramel is bubbling.

4. Add Chocolate

  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot caramel.
  • Let sit 1-2 mins to melt, then spread with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt.

5. Cool & Crack

  • Chill 1 hour (or freeze 20 mins) until set.
  • Break into pieces.

✔ Substitute: Use saltines for a contrast or graham crackers for a sweeter twist.
✔ Extra decadence? Drizzle with melted white chocolate.
✔ Storage: Keep in an airtight container for 1 week (if they last that long!).
