Strawberry Banana Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 2-3 ripe bananas (sliced)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pudding:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
    • Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
    • Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  2. Layer the Pudding:
    • In a trifle dish or large serving bowl, layer the ingredients as follows:
      1. A layer of vanilla wafers.
      2. A layer of sliced bananas and sliced strawberries.
      3. A layer of the pudding mixture.
    • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
  3. Garnish:
    • Top with additional whipped topping, sliced strawberries, and a few vanilla wafers for decoration.
  4. Chill and Serve:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld and the cookies to soften.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Fresh Fruit: Add the bananas just before serving to prevent them from browning.
  • Customize: Use other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or kiwi for a different twist.
  • Homemade Whipped Cream: Substitute Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. The cookies will soften over time, so it’s best enjoyed fresh.

This Strawberry Banana Pudding is a crowd-pleasing dessert that’s perfect for potlucks, parties, or a sweet treat at home. Let me know if you try it or need more dessert ideas! 😊🍓🍌🍮
