Valentine’s Day Fluff

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (preferably pink or red for a Valentine’s theme)
  • 1/2 cup red or pink M&M’s (or other candy, optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries (fresh or frozen, thawed)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate hearts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (heart-shaped or pink, red, or white for a festive touch)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Pudding Base:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.

2. Fold in the Whipped Topping:

  • Gently fold in the whipped topping to the pudding mixture until smooth and fully combined. This creates a fluffy base for your dessert.

3. Add the Marshmallows and Fruit:

  • Add the mini marshmallows, chopped strawberries, and any other fruit or candy you’d like to include. Gently fold everything into the mixture.

4. Add the Fun Extras:

  • Stir in the M&M’s (or other candy), and chocolate chips (if using). You can also add a handful of shredded coconut for some texture or garnish with sprinkles.

5. Chill:

  • Refrigerate the fluff for at least 1-2 hours to let it firm up and chill before serving.

6. Serve:

  • After chilling, give the fluff a quick stir, then scoop into individual bowls or serve in a large dish.
  • Garnish with extra chocolate chips, coconut, or sprinkles for a little more color and fun.

Tips:

  • Make it your own: You can swap out the strawberries for raspberries or use different types of candy or fruit based on your preferences.
  • Make Ahead: This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
  • Lighter version: Use fat-free whipped topping and low-fat pudding mix to make it a lighter treat.

This Valentine’s Day Fluff is perfect for celebrating with loved ones, whether you’re hosting a party, preparing a treat for a school event, or enjoying a festive dessert at home!
