Crispy Baked Parmesan Potato Fries 🥔🧀
These golden, cheesy fries are crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with savory Parmesan flavor—perfect as a snack or side!
Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 25-30 mins | Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 medium russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional Dip:
- Garlic Aioli or marinara sauce
Instructions:
1. Prep the Potatoes:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scrub potatoes (peel if desired) and cut into ½-inch thick fries.
- Soak in cold water for 10 mins (removes starch for extra crispiness), then pat very dry.
2. Season & Toss:
- In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
3. Bake:
- Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet (don’t overcrowd!).
- Bake for 15 mins, flip, then bake 10-15 mins more until golden and crispy.
4. Serve:
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley. Serve hot with your favorite dip!
Tips for Perfect Fries:
🔥 Extra crispy? Broil for 1-2 mins at the end (watch closely!).
🧀 Cheese lovers: Add a mix of Parmesan + cheddar for gooeyness.
🌿 Herb variations: Try rosemary or thyme instead of parsley.
⏲ Air fryer option: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 mins, shaking halfway.
These fries are irresistibly cheesy and way healthier than deep-fried! Let me know if you’d like a spicy or vegan version. 😊
Pair with: Burgers, grilled chicken, or enjoy solo! 🍔🍗
