2–3 ripe bananas, sliced
-
1½ cups (360ml) heavy cream, chilled
-
2 tbsp powdered sugar

Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Make the Crust:
-
Crush biscuits into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and sugar (if using).
-
Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill 15 mins to set.
2. Prepare the Caramel:
-
Quick method: Pour condensed milk into a saucepan with butter, vanilla, and salt. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (~10 mins).
-
No-cook hack: Use store-bought dulce de leche (or simmer an unopened can of condensed milk in water for 2 hours to make your own**).
-
Spread caramel over the crust. Chill 30 mins.
3. Layer Bananas & Cream:
-
Arrange banana slices over the caramel.
-
Whip cream + powdered sugar + vanilla to stiff peaks. Spread over bananas.
4. Garnish & Serve:
-
Top with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa.
-
Chill 2+ hours (or overnight) before slicing.
Tips for Perfection
🍌 Prevent browning: Toss banana slices in lemon juice before layering.
🔥 Extra depth: Add 1 tsp espresso powder to the caramel.
