-
1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
-
1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
-
1 tbsp butter
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tsp smoked paprika
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tsp onion powder
-
1/2 cup beef broth
-
1/4 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
-
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
1 tbsp chopped parsley
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
-
4 brioche buns, toasted
-
Optional toppings: Crispy fried onions, pickles, arugula

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onions and cook 15–20 mins, stirring occasionally, until golden and sweet.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef:

-
Stir in garlic, Worcestershire, Dijon, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
3️⃣ Simmer the Sauce:
-
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer 5–7 mins until slightly thickened.
-
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
4️⃣ Serve:
